Fall 2006 - Honeywell Capstone Project
Weather Radar Simulator
Gathered requirements, designed, coded, and tested an application to simulate weather radar normally generated by expensive hardware. Personal contributions included writing a Software Requirement Spec (SRS) as well as a more detailed specification (SRDD) defining each method and its use. Created and executed a test plan for the final application.
Fall 2006 - Insurance MS SQL Database
Gathered requirements from real medical office for a database to track insurance company fee schedules in order to determine the most profitable companies. Design and built SQL Server database after minimizing redundancy and maximizing efficiency through ER diagrams, database schemas, and normal forms. Created complex queries and views in SQL.
Spring 2005 - E-Cafe
Gathered requirements, designed, coded and tested a virtual restaurant application. The system allowed customers to enter their own orders, use built in entertainment, page waiters, and pay their own bills. Managers and waiters could monitor food orders, table status, reservations, and other options. The software was integrated with another team s who provided the kitchen s user experience. Application was coded in C# and the database was created in MS Access.
